About Nadine

Nadine Hawryluk  B.Sc. RMT ST

My goal is to provide a massage experience that is comfortable, safe and effective. I want you to walk out of an appointment knowing that the bodywork you received is achieving your personal goal, be it complete relaxation or the reduction of tension and pain. I aim to be an open and knowledgeable therapist and will often send you home with exercises or information to further the massage and maintain your wellness.

I have always been fascinated with the human body. From the time time I was able to flip through books, I would look at pictures of the inner workings of the human form. When I graduated high school it was clear that I wanted to further my study by obtaining a degree in Biology from the University of British Columbia. However it wasn’t until I was faced with my own healing journey that I discovered bodywork in the form of Shiatsu, which I found incredibly effective (even if it was given on the floor of a hostel in New Zealand).

I decided that I wanted to work with  people in a direct way and chose to study Shiatsu Therapy in Vancouver. Once I graduated I added on certificates in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Indian Head Massage and later my first degree in Reiki. After working in a few settings, it was natural for me to complete my diploma in Registered Massage Therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria BC.

I am so thankful to be working with people to achieve the health and wellness they desire and to be practicing in Courtenay B.C!

When I’m not providing a treatment, I will likely be out for a walk in the trees or having a cup of tea, enjoying the company of friends (both the four and two-legged varieties)
